"Can I pause my booking?". We understand the importance of maintaining your preferred schedule, and we offer two alternative options to accommodate your needs effectively:
Option 1: Make-Up Classes If your current day and time are crucial to your regular timetable, we provide the option of one make-up class per calendar month with a minimum of 24-hour notice. Additionally, you have the flexibility to cancel any additional days within the same month. However, please note that a make-up token is not generated in this case, and the class fee will be charged to reserve the booking day and time ongoing.
Option 2: Future Booking Credits Alternatively, you may drop your current booking and receive a credit for unused future bookings. This credit can be used for scheduling swimming lessons upon your return. Please note that we cannot hold a position for you once your booking has been cancelled. The availability of a suitable day and time for rebooking is subject to availability. To make a future booking, please contact our centre when you are ready to return. You can check availability and book up to 7 days in advance by either calling our Reception Team or logging into the Parent portal.
Important Considerations: If you are planning a holiday or taking a break from swimming lessons but wish to return and hold your current booking day and time, please be aware of our make-up policy. We cannot hold booking day/time once your booking has been cancelled, and rebooking is subject to availability.
Make-Up Policy: We offer one make-up class per calendar month per booking with 24-hour notification using the Parent portal. If you would like more information about our make-up policy and instructions on how to schedule an absence on the Parent portal, please reply to this email.
Policy on Pausing/Holding Bookings: Please note that we are unable to pause or hold bookings. Pausing or holding a booking means keeping a position in the class empty for the duration of the request, which is not feasible given our limited availability and class sizes. We cannot accommodate holding positions for returning students at the expense of new bookings.
Instructions for Dropping Bookings - Cancel Future Bookings: When you wish to return, please contact the centre as we cannot hold a position once your booking has been cancelled. Rebooking is subject to availability, and you can check availabilities and book up to 7 days in advance by calling our Reception Team or logging into the Parent portal.

Please contact the centre when you wish to return as we cannot hold booking day/time when your booking has been cancelled. Day and time when rebooking is subject to availability.
Makeup Class Policy:
YES, we offer 1 make-up class per calendar month with 24 hours notification through the Parent portal.
This means that each student enrolled in our program has the opportunity to schedule one make-up class every month. However, in order to utilize this make-up class, you must provide us with a minimum of 24 hours' notice through the Parent portal.
Scheduled Absences:
Scheduled absences can ONLY be registered using the Parent portal as Make-up tokens are generated automatically after the class that has been scheduled as being absent has completed.
If you know in advance that your child will be absent from a class, you can register this absence through the Parent portal. Once the missed class has concluded, a make-up token will be automatically generated for your use.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and we do our best to be flexible within our policies. However, it's important to note that the 24-hour notification requirement is in place to ensure the effective operation of our make-up policy. Since our class availability is limited, we rely on advance notice to offer make-up classes based on cancellations made by other students. This proactive approach helps us manage the schedule efficiently and make necessary arrangements.
We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to this policy. Maintaining a consistent approach for all our students is crucial to ensure fairness. Making exceptions on a case-by-case basis would undermine the integrity of our policy and could potentially affect the availability of make-up classes for all our students. Make Up policy
We understand that you may have questions and concerns about our make-up lesson policy, and we'd like to provide you with a clear and informative explanation of how it works at Learn to Swim School.
At Learn to Swim School, we are committed to delivering the highest quality aquatic education, and one of the ways we achieve this is by keeping our class sizes small. This ensures that each child receives individualized attention and a conducive learning environment.
Our make-up lesson policy is thoughtfully crafted to strike a balance between accommodating unforeseen circumstances and managing the logistical and financial aspects of our program. We recognize that there may be times when your child cannot attend a lesson due to illness or other commitments. In such cases, if you wish to maintain your child's spot in the class, you have the option to continue paying for missed lessons. However, if you decide to withdraw from your regular booking, we will credit your account for any pre-paid lessons. Please keep in mind that as your booking has been withdrawn, cancelled and credit applied, we won't be able to hold a position for you in the future. However, should you decide to return to our swim program, we would be more than happy to welcome you back. To resume your lessons, kindly get in touch with our center. However, please be aware that the availability of day and time slots for rebooking will be subject to availability at that time.
Our policy allows for one make-up token per calendar month, ensuring fair and consistent access to make-up classes for all students. We offer 12 make-up classes per year, which is more generous than many other swim schools. This monthly allocation helps us manage logistics and ensures availability.

Please Note:
We only offer ONE Makeup Token per booking, per calendar month with 24 hours notification using Parent Portal.
A makeup token can ONLY be BOOKED via the Parent Portal AFTER the class you have scheduled absent has FINISHED.
A makeup token has an EXPIRY DATE of 8 weeks from the date that you have scheduled absent.
